ReplyDeleteDarcy,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for including me in your weekly favorites!! I hopped over to take a look after reading your comment... LOVE your blog. I love reading about your experiences in the infant & toddler rooms. I remember working in an infant many years ago (before I became a Mom) and having a Mom hand me her 7 week old baby, in tears, on my 1st day on the job, and her babies 1st day in daycare. I remember thinking, what am I supposed to do with this baby, and why is this Mom so upset. I have learned so much since that day, and reading your posts just brings me back to those wonderful experiences. I look forward to following your blog :)
Thank you for all your wonderful comments. I appreciate them. Yes, Michelle, I had the same feeling when the main teacher in the infant room handed me a screaming baby and his bottle. I was thinking, what if I can't calm him down. At least the bottle helped, but he's kind of hard to feed. I'm hoping to have many more experiences with infants and toddlers to share.
